Al-Houthis Suffer Another Defeat in Shakhab – Kataba and Southern Armed Forces Advance to the North
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Arabia Al-Yemenia – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]outhern armed forces managed to clear Shakhab, on the road to Salim and Al-Fakher north of Kataba, off Al-Houthi militias who suffered massive loses.
A military source indicated that the southern armed forces controlled Shakhab through two attacks on two axes. The first axis was towards Mazoub Amer and Al-Abari while the second was towards Al-Kafla. Al-Houthis escaped to Al-Zubairiat leaving behind their heavy and medium weapons.
After their defeat in Shakhab, Al-Houthis started to sabotage and explode roads and bridges to hinder southern armed forces from advancing to Salim and Al-Fakher to clear them off.
Southern armed forces are now advancing towards Salim, 3.5 km from Shakhab, and Al-Fakher, 6 km from Shakhab.
