Recent Attacks Exposed Coordination Among Enemies of the South and Highlighted Southern Awareness Against Agitating Campaigns: General Secretariat
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]H[/su_dropcap] eaded by Ahmed Lamlas, secretary general of the southern transitional council, general secretariat of the council held its regular meeting in Aden on August 5th, 2019.
The meeting started with a mourning moment on the soles of martyrs of the two terrorist attacks on Sheikh Othman Police Station and Al-Berika military camp. In addition, the meeting mourned Nasser Al-Ba Bakri, member of the general assembly, Hassan Khamees, vice chairman of the security department of the general secretariat, and Abd Al-Rahman Al-Mehdar, member of the media department, who deceased in a traffic accident last week while being in an official visit to Shabwa.
The meeting discussed recent developments in Aden and other southern governorates after the two terrorist attacks that led to martyrdom of several officers and soldiers, including Brigadier Muneer Mahmoud (Abu Yamama). The meeting appreciated the sacrifices of martyrs and indicated that recent developments exposed the coordination of enemies of the south in spite of their ideological conflicts.
The meeting demanded all southern citizens to line up in the face of those enemies that only want to divide the south and reconquer it.
The meeting also discussed other relevant issues on its agenda including weekly achievement reports for each department and next week plans.
