Sources indicated that clashes with heavy artillery, mortar shells and Hawkers occurred after sunset. In phone call with brigadier Mahmoud Sael Al-Subaihy, commander of the front, he asserted that clashes renewed last night as a group of Al-Houthi militias sneaked trying to attack national army and southern resistance posts. He added that the national army and resistance managed to defeat the attack and engaged with the enemy with heavy weapons and forced them to retreat because of their severe casualties in men and weapons. Field sources indicated that the national army, stationed in Kehboub and supported by Al-Subaiha resistance members, achieved major advances in that battel as Al-Houthi militants were seen withdrawing while carrying their dead and injured.
