Institutions and facilities in the capital #Aden complete opening their accounts at the National Bank
A number of income institutions and facilities in the capital, Aden, have continued opening their accounts at the National Bank, according to the directives of the head of the Self-Administration for the South, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik.
Dr. Abdel Salam Homaid, Chairman of the Economic Committee and member of the Self-Administration Committee, stated that the institutions that have completed their procedures are the Tax Corporation, Al-Mualla Customs, Free Zone Customs, Taxpayer of Senior Taxes, Ports Authority, Oil Company, Aden Refineries Company, while other institutions are still following the procedures to open their accounts in the National Bank.
Homaid reassured everyone that those resources would be entered into the current account of these institutions and behaved through those entities as usual and according to financial systems, with a difference that they would be subjected to monitoring to ensure avoiding tampering and corruption.
Homaid indicated that only supreme resources will be directed to improve public services such as water, electricity, hygiene, health and any emergency services.
