Major General bin Brik chairs meeting of Supreme Economic Committee of the Transitional Council
Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, President of the Southern Self-Administration, chaired on Tuesday a meeting of the Supreme Economic Committee of the Council.
In the meeting, which was attended by Major General Salem Al-Socotri, Assistant Secretary-General, Vice-President of the Self-Administration, and Attorney Niran Souqi, Member of the Presidency of the Council, deputy chairman of the National Assembly, and Dr. Mona Bashrahil, Member of the Presidency of the Council and Dr. Abdel Salam Saleh Humaid, Chairman of the Supreme Economic Committee – Member of the Self-Administration, Major General bin Brik stressed on the challenges facing the Self-Administration, calling for extraordinary efforts to be excreted and work in the spirit of one team to help economic and service institutions in a way that serves Aden the capital, and other southern governorates.
In the meeting, Dr. Abdel Salam Humaid, Chairman of the Supreme Economic Committee, reviewed the current economic and social scene, stressing that the committee represents a constellation of academics and administrative expertise capable of accomplishing a lot and assisting the Transitional Council and self-administration in achieving the desired goals.
The meeting dealt with the division of the Economic Committee on the economic and service sectors for direct supervision to help it accomplish its tasks, and identify its work programs, and solve its problems, and stop any aspects that hinder the activities of these institutions from tampering or corruption.
