Dr. Al-Wali inspects Doctors Without Borders hospital in the capital Aden.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the local leadership of the Council in the capital Aden, deputy head of the relief and humanitarian works committee in the Transitional Council, inspected on Tuesday, the hospital of Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Omar Mokhtar neighborhood of Sheikh Othman district.
In his visit, Al-Wali met with Ms. Catherine Moody, the General Coordinator of the Doctors Without Borders project in the capital Aden, who briefed him on the progress of the hospital activities, as well as the difficulties and obstacles facing the administration’s tasks from time to time.
Ms. Catherine extended her heartfelt thanks to the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, which strives to provide safe and secure environment for MSF staff and cadres and to facilitate its medical and humanitarian work.
For his part, Al-Wali appreciated the distinguished efforts of Doctors Without Borders, in particular the hospital administration and staff, who provide free and great medical services to citizens, welcoming the efforts of cooperation, coordination, and joint work between the organization and the leadership of the Transitional Council in everything that would improve the health sector and provide free medical services to citizens in the capital Aden and the rest of the southern governorates.
