Victims of earthquake in Izmir increase, 43 dead, 896 injured

At least 43 people have lost their life in the earthquake that hit Izmir on Friday.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced that the number of people who lost their lives as a result of the earthquake in Izmir rose to 43.

The treatment of 229 of 896 injured continues. AFAD announced that search and rescue efforts continue in 9 buildings in the city.
