Transitional Council expresses its satisfaction at formation of power-sharing  government affirming keenness on success of its tasks

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its weekly periodic meeting on Sunday, under the chairmanship of Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency.

In its meeting, the Presidency expressed the appreciation of the Southern Transitional Council and its satisfaction with the efforts made by the parties, especially the countries of Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which sponsored the negotiation to form a government of power-sharing  between the south and the north, stressing that the Council will do everything to support it and for the success of its tasks, to improve the living conditions of citizens and combat corruption, maintaining security and public tranquility, and directing efforts to protect regional and Arab national security.

In this context, the Presidency called on all forces, components and segments of society to work together with the government to help it accomplish its tasks entrusted to it.

The Presidency stressed the need to expedite the completion of the remaining procedures in the Riyadh Agreement and a mechanism for accelerating implementation related to the work of the local authority, security and others, to contribute effectively to the success of the government’s work and its tasks performance.

In the meeting, the Presidency stood before a number of issues related to political and organizational work for the coming period, as well as the weekly performance reports submitted by the Presidency of the National Assembly and its committees, praising the effective efforts of the Health and Information Committees of the Society in implementing each of the tasks assigned to it, and also discussed the weekly performance report of the General Secretariat and its departments, in addition to a number of other topics, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
