Local and judicial and security authorities in Aden discuss mechanisms and ways to coordinate efforts between them

The local, judicial and security authorities in the capital, Aden, held a joint meeting on Wednesday, gathered the governor of the capital Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, and Judge Faheem Abdullah Al-Hadrami, President of the Court of Appeal, and Judge Qaher Mustafa, Chief of the Appeals Prosecution in Aden, and Major General Mutahar Ali Naji, Director General of Aden Police.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the activities of those authorities that ensure the rule of law and order to the elimination of extraneous phenomena on the society in Aden.
The meeting discussed means of joint coordination between the three authorities and the development of its mechanism, to impose the rule of law, enhance the existence and prestige of the state, and limit acts of sabotage that disturb the security and safety of society and harm the service aspects.
The meeting also discussed aspects of unifying security units, rehabilitating police stations, training and qualifying the security cadre and providing them with scientific knowledge related to security work.
Governor Lamlas expressed Aden’s urgent need for the cooperation of the judicial and security authorities with the local authority and to work as one coordinated team to confront corruption and sabotage acts that undermine the security and stability of the city, as well as fight against the activities of lands domination and random construction and others.
The meeting agreed to hold subsequent meetings to discuss the details of coordination and communication mechanisms, stressing the importance of working in a team spirit for the interest of the capital Aden, and the security and safety of its community.
