Governor Lamlas pays inspection visit to Offices of Culture and Information in Aden the capital

Within the framework of his field visits program to the state institutions and facilities, the governor of the capital Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, on Wednesday, visited the Culture and Information Offices in the capital.
At the beginning, the Governor reviewed the conditions of the Culture Office and its functions, and listened from Ms. Mona Maqtari, the Office’s Financial and Administrative Director, to a full explanation about the cultural activities carried out by the office and its administrative and financial situation, and to an overview of all the difficulties facing the Office, foremost of which is the lack of operational budget, and its lack of capabilities to help in implementing its various activities, as well as the miserable situation of the building that some of its parts have collapsed during previous periods. .
The governor toured the office’s departments and divisions and met with its employees, and listened to their opinions and suggestions regarding activating the performance and activities of the office.
At the end of the visit, the governor expressed his regret at the state of the Office of Culture and his understanding of the circumstances surrounding its activities, stressing his full support for the administration of the office, and to work to solve its problems and provide its needs and requirements to be able to perform its duties to the fullest.
After that, the Governor Lamlas made an inspection visit to the Media Information Office in the capital Aden, where he met with its Director General, Mr. Mohsen Mukaish, and a number of the office’s employees.
Mukaish presented to the governor Lamlas an integrated explanation about the office’s situation, plans and work programs, and its relationship with the ministry, and the difficult conditions that the office works under, foremost of which is the disregard of the ministry to the office, and the failure to communicate with it, and denying the office from the simplest support.
The Governor of the Capital urged the administration and employees of the Office not to give in to these circumstances, and to make more efforts to continue the work of the office and to fulfill its role and media message that the capital Aden, needs in the current period more than any other time, stressing his understanding of the problems and suffering of the office, its administration and staff, and his readiness to work to address them .
At the conclusion of his visit, the governor of Aden the capital, promised the departments of the Culture and Information offices to assign an engineering team from the Public Works Office to inspect the buildings and submit a report to consider the possibility of rehabilitating them.
