President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi directs for new financial grant to confront Corona in Hadramout

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, has directed for financial grant to purchase medical equipment and supplies for health facilities in Hadramout to help them coping with the new wave of the Corona pandemic.
The leadership of the executive authority of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the governorate began its movements in health facilities to see their needs of medical devices and supplies, in which Dr. Muhammad Jaafar bin Al-Sheikh Abu Bakr, Head of the Executive Authority, met at his office at the headquarters of the local leadership, in Mukalla, on Wednesday, with Abdullah Khamis Mari, Chairman of the supervisory committee for health quarantine centers in the coast of Hadramout, where he provided a list of the centers’ needs of gas cylinders, medicines, equipment and supplies necessary to protect medical personnel, and enable the centers to continue their work, in light of the outbreak of the pandemic, and the daily increase in the record of infections.
Bin Al-Sheikh Abu Bakr expressed his readiness to contribute in providing the centers’ needs with the protection requirements available from the two Emirati grants and the previous grant of President Al-Zubaidi, indicating that the new grant, which was directed by the President of the Council, will contribute to covering the needs of health facilities in various districts, including medicines, medical equipment and supplies for Corona protection.
The local leadership of the Council in Hadramout had received, in the middle of last year, two batches of generous medical support from the United Arab Emirates, included quality medical devices and equipment and protection supplies to combat Corona, and also received another batch from President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, in which large quantities of them were distributed to health facilities in various districts in governorate.
These medical equipment and supplies to protect against the Coronavirus have contributed to increasing the capacity of health facilities and enabled them to protect their staff from the pandemic.
Part of this support were used to be provided for the needs of the colleges of the University of Hadramaot that enabled it to resume the educational process.
