Al-Kaf reviews results of field visits of Corona Confrontation Committee of the Transitional Council

Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, Acting Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Affairs Committee of the Council met on Thursday, with the Council’s Coronavirus Control Committee.
Al-Kaf listened to a detailed explanation from the committee on the results of its field visits to the quarantine center at Al-Jamhuriya Hospital in Khormaksar District, Al-Kumaiti Center in Al-Buraiqa District, and a number of other health facilities in the capital, Aden.
Al-Kaf also listen from the committee to a report on the number of deaths and people infected with the Coronavirus, and the absorptive state of quarantine centers that receive those infected with the virus in most southern governorates.
The meeting discussed the difficulties facing the quarries and health centers, and the needs to help them in confronting the pandemic, as the meeting approved a number of recommendations and treatments that will help facilitating the mechanism of supplying them with the means, materials and capabilities necessary to confront the second wave of the virus.
In the meeting, it was also approved to expand the work of the Coronavirus Control Committee of the Southern Transitional Council to include delegates in all southern governorates, in order to improve its work in terms of documenting data about the number of infected people and the cases of health centers concerned with confronting the pandemic, and to facilitate the provision of support to it.
