Governor Lamlas chairs meeting of technical committee of assessing conditions of water well fields in the capital

Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Governor of Aden the capital, chaired on Wednesday, a meeting of the committee assigned by him to study and evaluate the water situation in the fields of Al-Manasrah wells, Nasser well, and Ahmed well that feeds the city of Aden with water.
During the meeting, the governor was briefed on the results of the visit of the committee consisting of a number of specialists, and its evaluation of the situation in the aforementioned fields.
The meeting discussed a number of technical aspects and problems that the committee monitored during its field visit.
In this context, the governor stressed the need to monitor all the problems surrounding the water installations, and analyze them, and develop proposals to solve them, in which he directed for preparation to hold a workshop that includes specialists, official bodies and international organizations to discuss these problems, as well as preparing a matrix that includes the most important needs of the water sector and its financing to promote this vital sector and improve its performance.
