President Al-Zubaidi visits the Radio and Television Unit of the Transitional Council in Aden the capital

President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, on Sunday, paid an inspection visit to the radio and television unit of the council in the capital Aden.

Upon his arrival, President Al-Zubaidi was received by the Director General of the Radio and Television Unit, Mukhtar Al-Yafei, and a number of heads of departments and sections at Aden Independent TV Channel (AIC TV), and Radio Hona Aden.

The President’s visit was accompanied by Eng. Nizar Haitham, the member of the Council’s Presidency, Head of the Council Executive Authority in Aden the capital, in which President Al-Zubaidi toured the various departments in the Radio and Television Unit, listening from the Director General of the Radio and Television Unit to a detailed explanation about the progress of work and the nature of the tasks of the staff of each department, as well as the technologies used and their role in radio and television broadcasting.

At the end of the visit, President Al-Zubaidi held a meeting with the Director General of the Radio and Television Unit and a number of heads of the departments in the TV and the radio, to review the progress of work in the unit, the obstacles facing the unit’s management and its employees, and the ways to address them so that the TV and radio can fulfill their noble and patriotic message.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts made by the management and staff of the Radio and Television Unit, for their media and struggle contributions, and their role in educating the people of the South about their just cause, especially in light of the current conditions that the country is going through, stressing the Council’s readiness to organize training sessions for the channel’s staff to raise the level of performance in line with the victories achieved for the people of the South on the road to restoring the state.

For his part, Mukhtar Al-Yafei expressed his happiness with this visit, extending his thanks to President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, for giving the Radio and Television Unit full care and generous support, stressing that what the Radio and Television Unit is witnessing is looking forward to presenting a meaningful media message and the finest means and techniques available to be able to carry out its mission in Defending the South and its just cause.
