Al-Khobaji meets with Executive Assisting Authority of Transitional Council for districts of valley and desert of Hadramout

The Member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Head of the Council’s Negotiations Unit, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, met on Sunday, with the executive assisting body of the Southern Transitional Council for the affairs of the districts of the valley and desert of Hadramout.

In the meeting, Dr. Al-Khobaji briefed the executive assisting body of the Transitional Council for the the districts of the valley and desert of Hadramout on the latest political developments in the southern arena, foremost of which is the relentless efforts of the Southern Transitional Council to implement the Riyadh Agreement as the only way out of the current crisis.

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji talked about the great suffering that the southern citizens aches as a result of the economic collapse and the lack of services, stressing that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council is making vigorous efforts to pressure the competent authorities to provide services, pay salaries and address the great economic crisis in the liberated southern governorates.

Dr. Al-Khobaji also talked about the procedures of implementing the military part of the Riyadh Agreement, which includes the departure of all military forces from Hadramout valley, Al-Mahra and Shabwa, and transferring them to the battle fronts to confront the Houthi militia, considering the latter the real enemy that poses a threat to the security and stability of the Arab region as a whole.

Dr. Al-Khobaji pointed out that the Southern Transitional Council puts the suffering of the people of Hadramout at the forefront of its priorities, stressing that the Council will not hesitate to liberate it from the terrorist practices carried out by the militia in the south.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Khobaji, listened from the leadership of the executive assisting body of the Southern Transitional Council for the districts of valley and desert of Hadramout, to a detailed explanation of the conditions and suffering they face as a result of the provocations and encroachments of the First Military Region forces, and their hostile practices against the people of the valley, as well as the conditions resulted from the climatic depression that struck the districts of the valley recently, which killed a number of citizens, and caused severe damage to housing and public and private properties.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the leadership of the executive assisting body of the council for the districts of valley and desert of Hadramout got briefed on the activities provided by the Relief Committee and the council bodies, to help the people and alleviate their suffering.
