The General Secretariat discusses consequences of withdrawing hard currency from governorates of South

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held today, Monday, its periodic meeting, chaired by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.

The meeting listened to a number of reports submitted by the secretariat departments, most notably the economic scene report, which reviewed the failure of the Central Bank to play the role entrusted to it by setting a mechanism for the spread of exchange shops, and stopping the process of draging hard currency out of the governorates of the South, and putting an end to the collapse of the local currency, and its repercussions on the prices of goods and services .

In addition to that, the meeting reviewed the level of functional discipline in all departments of the General Secretariat, and took the necessary measures in this regard, in order to enhance discipline and accomplish the tasks assigned to each department.

The meeting touched on the ongoing preparations for holding of the fourth session of the National Assembly, in which the participants presented constructive proposals on the participation of the General Secretariat in the success of the fourth session of the National Assembly, which will be held on 16-17 of current June.

The meeting reviewed the reports of the activities of the general secretariat departments for the past week, as well as the departments’ plans to be implemented in this week.
