National Southern Media Authority reviews situation of Aden TV and Radio and 14 October Press Foundation

The National Southern Media Authority held its periodic meeting, on Tuesday, headed by Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice Chairman of the Authority.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Saddam Abdullah, head of the press and modern media sector, reviewed the results of the meeting that was held last Sunday, headed by the vice chairman of the authority, with journalists, administrators and technicians at the Aden News Agency, and the recommendations and proposals that resulted from the meeting, which resulted with the re-operate of the agency.
In its meeting, the authority discussed the work plan of the media department and the Council’s media, to cover the fourth session of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council.
The meeting touched on the situation of Aden TV and Radio, the October 14 Foundation for Press, Printing and Publishing, and the importance of re-working within the southern media framework, and the role of these institutions in returning the Southern Journalists and Media Syndicate to work with the rest of the media in all southern governorates.
The authority reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting, and the level of achievement of the recommendations received.
