Major General Bin Brik: Martyr Al-Shobaji is exceptional hero who sacrificed his soul and three of his sons in faith of his cause

The Transitional Council held on Saturday, in the capital, Aden, a memorial ceremony for the martyr fighter Brigadier Yahya Al-Shobaji, “Father of Martyrs,” under the patronage of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, and under the slogan “Transcendence in Purpose, and Greatness of Martyrdom”.
Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, the chairman of the National Assembly, attended the memorial ceremony, along with Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Governor of the capital, Aden, and Mr. Fadl Mohammad al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, and Major General Shallal Ali Shaye, commander of the fight against terrorism, and Major General Ali Muqbel Saleh, Governor of Al-Dhalea, in addition to a number of ministers in the government, military and security leaders, and a large group of companions and friends of the martyr, in which they offered their sincere condolences to the family of the martyr Al-Shobaji, to his relatives, companions and friends.
Major General Bin Brik said in the ceremony: “We console ourselves and the south in general in the martyrdom of an exceptional hero of a special type who sacrified his life and three of his sons for the sake of his belief in his cause.”
Major General Bin Brik continued, “Al-Dhalea is the gateway to the south, and one of the first governorates that defended and confronted the Houthi aggression, and the sacrifices it offers are appreciated by all the people of the south.”
The Chairman of the National Assembly stressed that the political leadership, with all its men, has carried its shrouds on its shoulders since it has assumed the responsibility of the people to restore their state and their rights.
Major General Bin Brik concluded his speech: “We will win with our people, our determination that will not give in, and our faith in our cause, and we will not hesitate to sacrifice the most precious for this.”
A speech was delivered for the family of the martyr, delivered by his son, Mohammad Al-Shobaji, during which he thanked the Transitional Council for organizing this event, recalling the national spirit of his father, the martyr Yahya Al-Shobaji, who died for it.
Mohammad Al-Shobaji stressed that the blood of the martyrs will not be cold until freedom and independence is achieved, for which men sacrificed themselves on the fronts of heroism and honor.
Al-Shobaji had mercy on the souls of all the martyrs who died in defending of the south, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded and freedom for the prisoners.
A number of poems and speeches of sympathy and reverence for the martyr, his sons and all the martyrs were also delivered at the ceremony, and a short film was shown telling some of the martyr’s biography and words of his companions, and at the end of the event, the family of the martyr was honored.
