President Al-Zubaidi chairs meeting of Military and Security Committee and command of Backup and Support Brigades and Security Belt

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, chaired on Sunday, in the capital, Aden, a meeting of the Southern Military and Security Committee, and the leadership of the Backup and Support Brigades, and the Security Belt.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed all southern military and security leaders, praising their role in establishing security and stability in the capital, Aden, in particular, and the governorates of the south in general.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the tremendous efforts made by the southern armed forces on all lands of the south, stressing the need to make more efforts to preserve the security and stability of the south, and to firmly confront any attacks.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of concerted southern military and security efforts, the solidarity of all, and the spirit of one team to defend the entire lands of the south, and its gains, from any attacks that may come from any direction.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of working with the decision-making mechanism, in order to reach to an integrated southern armed forces, affiliated with the Ministries of Defense and Interior, capable of protecting the homeland of the south and defending its sovereignty.

After that, President Al-Zubaidi listened from the Southern Military and Security Committee to the most important structural plans, military training and rehabilitation programs, and the needs to implement them.

In turn, the commanders of the backup and support brigades, and the security belt, assured to President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, their understanding of the tasks assigned to them, and their readiness to implement them to the fullest.
