The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting headed by President Al-Zubaidi

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Thursday, its periodic meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Council.

In the meeting, which was attended by the council’s ministers in the parity government, the Presidency of the Council reviewed the minutes of its previous meeting, and its achieved outputs, in addition to the latest developments in the southern arena during the past period.

The Presidency praised the results of the meetings of President Al-Zubaidi with the Economic Committee and the Southern Money Exchangers Association, and his meeting with the heads of commercial banks in the capital, Aden, aimed at finding effective solutions to stabilize the local currency, and ensuring an improvement in the living of citizens.

The meeting praised the tireless moves of the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, the governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, as well as the actions of the director of the Electricity Corporation in the capital, Mr. Salem Al-Walidi, which was crowned with success in paying the dues of the purchased energy companies, and restoring stability to the electric current in the capital, Aden.

The Presidency saluted the position of the people of Hadramout and Al-Mahra governorates, and their popular demonstration to express their absolute rejection of holding sessions of the Yemeni Parliament in any southern land, and to denounce the deteriorating conditions experienced by the people of these two governorates, and all the governorates of the South.

At the conclusion of its periodic meeting, the Presidency of the Council discussed a number of topics related to the work of some of the Council’s bodies, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
