Deputy Secretary-General gets briefed on program of forming branches for Southern Fishermen’s Union

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, met on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in the capital, Aden, the Executive Office of the Fisheries Cooperative Union for the Fishermen of the South, headed by Omar Salem Qambit.
The Deputy Secretary-General listened from the President of the Fisheries Cooperative Union, Omar Salem Qambit, and the members of the Executive Office, to an explanation of the work program for forming branches of the Union of Fishermen in the governorates of the South, and the union plan prepared in this regard.
During the meeting, Al-Jaadi pointed out to the importance of the local market, and to fulfill its needs by providing it with the required quantities of fish to the markets for citizens, calling for an action to reduce fish prices there.
For their part, the head of the Executive Office of the Fisheries Cooperative Union for the Fishermen of the South, and the office members expressed their happiness and thanks to the Deputy Secretary-General and the leadership of the Transitional Council for their interest in this important aspect, and their keenness to motivate its activity in society.
