Hadhramout witnesses historic meeting to unify voice of its citizens and to get their rights and defend them

Sheikhs, notables, dignitaries and wise men of the tribes and sects of Hadhramout, on Tuesday, participated in Hadhramout General Meeting, in Haro region of the Masila Valley, which was called for by the bloc of Hadhramout Inclusive and Confederacy Bloc for Hadhramout and the South; To confront the dangers facing Hadhramout, and to defend religion, honor and land.
In the meeting, which came under the slogan: (Hadhramout gathers to extract its rights and defend religion, honor and land), the director of the Valley bloc office, Sheikh Hassan Saeed Al-Jabri, welcomed the attendees on behalf of the head of the bloc, Lt. Col. Salem Mubarak bin Sumayda, thanking them for attending today’s meeting despite the obstacles they faced, which tried to discourage them from reaching the meeting place, such as cutting off roads and cutting off the communications network and the Internet, appreciating the determination of Hadrami dignitaries, notables and social personalities to attend the meeting in Haro area; to study the situation in the country from the deterioration of services to the exorbitant price hike and the deterioration of the local currency exchange, as well as the lack of oil derivatives, in addition to discussing the file of insecurity and the spread of financial and administrative corruption.
He also called on the participants to confront the Houthi tide and confront it with all means and capabilities so that Hadramout remains protected by its men.
He pointed out that the leadership of the bloc extended its hands to all the benevolent and honorable people of Hadhramout; with the aim of coming up with recommendations and decisions that protect Hadhramout and get its rights.
The meeting witnessed a number of speeches on behalf of the leaders, notables, sheikhs and components of the Hadrami society that rejected division, discord and splitting the Hadrami class, and appealed to unite the ranks and the word, and work to propose radical solutions to the situation in Hadhramout, and demanded the departure of the forces of the First Military Region, and replacing them with the Hadrami Elite Forces empowered to defend their land and their community.
It was also pointed out that Hadhramout is witnessing challenges in the military, economic, social and service file, and that there is an economic war being waged against Hadhramout with the aim of its downfall.
The attendees discussed the importance of putting an end to corruption, and working to reform the conditions of Hadhramout and return it to its historical position, and expressed their willingness to make all possible options and solutions; to defend Hadhramout, and to extract its rights to protect the Hadrami land and human beings.
The meeting witnessed the recitation of a number of poems that excited the audience, and expressed the concerns and suffering of the citizens, and the seriousness of the current situation that Hadhramout is going through, hoping that the Hadhramout General Meeting would be a historic meeting that would change the history of Hadhramout towards a bright future that would restore its rights, defend its land and preserve its capabilities.
