Statement by official spokesperson of STC about terrorist bombing targeted the gate of Aden International Airport

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL

The forces of evil and terrorism continue to carry out terrorist bombing operations to target the security and stability of the capital, Aden, and terrorize its residents. The latest terrorist operation was carried out this evening near the outer gate of Aden International Airport, in which a car bomb was detonated, killing a number of our peaceful citizens, including children, and wounding a number of other civilians.

These condemned terrorist acts and those behind them confirm that the war of booby traps has become the last weapon of the dark forces in their attempts to overthrow Aden and the South in general, after their military conquests and wars of services failed to achieve these diabolical goals, as well as other goals, including thwarting the work of the government of power-sharing between the south and the north, and portraying the capital, Aden, as losing security and stability, in addition to thwarting any effort to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.

While the Southern Transitional Council (STC) condemns in the strongest terms these terrorist acts, it affirms at the same time that the forces of terrorism and extremism will receive a deterrent punishment and will be uprooted and the land of the South will be purified of terrorism and extremism in all its forms and sources. We call on all our southern military and security forces to be more vigilant and alert and to redouble efforts to cut off those terrorist cells supported by the Houthis and the Brotherhood and to continue the war of purifying the South of its oppression and criminality.

Mercy to the martyrs

Speedy recovery to the injured

and victory is for our people…

Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri

Official Spokesperson of the Southern Transitional Council

Member of the Presidency of the Council
