Kuwait and United Arab Emirates Condemns Continuation of Houthi Militia’s Attempts Targeting Jazan and Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia

The State of Kuwait has expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia’s continued attempts to threaten the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by targeting Jazan and Khamis Mushait with two booby-trapped drones.
In a statement issued today, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said that these hostile practices and the escalation aimed at civilians and civilian areas, security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region’s security, constitute blatant breach of international laws. It added that the international community should rapidly and decisively act to repel these threats and bring the culprits to account.
The State of Kuwait fully stands on side of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, backing the Kingdom with respect of all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist militias’ attempts attacking civilians and civil objects in the two
Saudi cities of Jazan and Khamis Mushait with two bomb-laden drones, successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition Forces.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation reiterated that these deliberate and systematic terror attacks by the Houthis reflect their blatant disregard for the international community and all international laws and norms.
The Ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these recurrent acts, which target Saudi Arabia’s security, in addition to vital and civilian installations and threaten global energy supplies, as well as the stability of the international economy. It also stressed that the continuation of these attacks over the recent period is a grave escalation that represents new evidence of these militias’ attempts to undermine security and stability in the region.
