The Legal Department concludes its workshop on “Legal and religious basis for restoration of the Southern State”

The legal department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council concluded, on Monday, in the capital, Aden, a workshop that it organized under the title “Legal and religious basis for restoration of the Southern State” under the auspices of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.
The closing day of the workshop was attended by Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and lawyer Niran Sooki, member of the Presidency of the Council, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, and Dr. Suhair Ali Ahmed, member of the Presidency of the Council, in addition to Dr. Mohammad Matash, Chairman of the Supreme Economic Committee of the Council, in which the participants were distributed into groups to discuss sectors related to the title of the workshop to prepare outcomes consistent with the title of the workshop.
The workshop, which was supervised by Dr. Saleh Al-Marfadi, head of the legal department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council, discussed several basic topics, through groups distributed by the participants in the workshop, including the legal axis, which dealt with the violations that the South suffered of, and the nature of the legitimate evidence to restore the South, and the axis of local agreements that covered the weaknesses and strengths in the process of restoring the state of the South.
The third axis discussed the crimes of the occupation regime against the South and the types of those crimes and the risks they carry and how to confront them, while the fourth axis was about the law, and international treaties and the legal cover for ways to restore the southern state.
The workshop previewed a documentary film that reviewed the most prominent stations that the South has gone through since 1990 and the types of violations practiced against southerners by Sana’a regime.
