Major General Bin Brik meets with Head of National Network to Advocate for Rights of People of Determination and Coordinator of Organizations Affairs in Al-Dhalea

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly met on Thursday, with the social activist Ms. Al-Rumaisa Hussein Yaqoub, head of the National Network to Advocate for the Rights of People of Determination.
The meeting discussed the plans and programs of the network and ways to encourage and integrate People of Determination into society and obtain their full and undiminished rights.
The meeting reviewed preparations for the celebration of the International Day of People of Determination, which will be held by the network on December 13th.
Major General Bin Brik stressed the Transitional Council leadership’s interest in the category of people of determination, encouraging them, supporting their initiatives and ideas, and everything that would develop their skills and capabilities, working to involve them in relief and humanitarian work, and ensuring that they obtained their rights guaranteed by local and international laws in providing them with a job opportunity after completing their university and technical education.
The Acting President of the Transitional Council also discussed with the coordinator of organizations in Al-Dhalea governorate, Akram Qassem Moqbel, the humanitarian and services conditions in the governorate, and future plans and programs for relief, humanitarian, health and development work.
Major General Bin Brik got briefed on the efforts made to improve the progress of work, and ways to expand partnership and joint cooperation with donor organizations, and the local and international support, which is prepared to be provided to the governorate within the partnership with organizations to improve livelihoods and services in light of the conditions experienced by the governorate of Al-Dhalea to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council praised the efforts of the organizations coordinator in Al-Dhalea, during the short period in which he began his work, in which he proved his ability and institutional competencies by standing on the problems that affect the functioning of the organizations and finding appropriate solutions to them.
