France confirms its support for the authority of Aden the capital and its governor

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, met on Sunday, with Mr. Jean Marie Safa, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to our country.
At the beginning of the meeting, Governor Lamlas welcomed the French ambassador and his accompanying team, praising the keenness of the friends in France to meet with the local authorities in the capital, Aden, and listen to the challenges facing them today, especially in light of the circumstances the country is witnessing at all levels.
Governor Lamlas, valued the French side’s keenness to consult with the local leadership in Aden the capital, expressing the worsening economic conditions, until they turned into a major obsession, urging the Arab coalition countries and international friends to strengthen their interventions in the development sector to overcome the challenges facing the citizens in the capital.
Lamlas warned of the reflection of the economic situation on the military and security issues, to an extent that threatens to undermine security, prolong the conflict, deepen human suffering, and threaten to reach out to the countries in the region and the world.
For his part, the French ambassador revealed that he is following up the efforts of the executive bodies in the capital, Aden, to develop the services and development aspects, pointing to the examination of the file of insurance costs on ships to mitigate the rise in goods, merchandise and foodstuffs.
