Saadan meets people of historic Qishn District and appreciates their national stances

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Saeed Mohammed Saadan, met on Wednesday, with a number of leaders, social, political, youth and women sector figures in Qishn District, of Al-Mahra governorate.

In the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Salem Ali Al-Qumairi, Head of Executive Body  in the local leadership of the Transitional Council in the governorate, Saadan expressed his happiness with this important meeting with the people of the historic district of Qishn, conveying to them the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi – the President of the Southern Transitional Council, appreciating the struggle positions of the people of Qishn district and the efforts of its men and youth and its women in their support for their southern cause, their adherence to the Southern Transitional Council, and their standing up to all conspiracies.

Saadan called on the people of Qishn district and the people of Al-Mahra governorate in general to unite and defend their rights and property, confront conspiracies and schemes, and not to remain silent about their rights and property, and demand improvement of their conditions and their right in a decent life.

Saadan pointed out that Al-Mahra governorate is exposed to many conspiracies in various fields by corrupt and anti-south forces that seek by all means to plunder the governorate’s wealth at a time when the people of Al-Mahra are suffering from the deteriorating living and economic conditions.

Saadan stressed that the Southern Transitional Council always stands by the suffering of citizens in all governorates, especially in light of the difficult conditions the country is experiencing due to the collapse of the local currency and the rise in prices.

Saadan praised the great role played by the Mahri women in Qishn district and their effective and distinguished presence in all events and activities held by the Southern Transitional Council, as well as their prominent role in confronting conspiracies and schemes targeting Al-Mahra governorate and the South in general.

Saadan also stressed that the Southern Transitional Council has become today, more powerful and stable on the ground, and has been able to achieve many political and military gains.

At the end of the meeting, Saadan listened to the opinions and observations of the attendees, who talked about several topics aimed at developing the performance of work in the local leadership of the Transitional Council in the districts of the governorate.
