Major General Bin Brik meets head of union of workers and employees of Regulating Land Transport Affairs Authority

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Thursday in his office with Eng. Bakil Al-Turki, head of the workers and employees’ union of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs.
In the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed the Eng. Al-Turki, and briefed him on the status of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and difficulties it faces.
The meeting discussed strengthening the role of trade unions in the authority and overcoming the obstacles facing the union, and the possibility of forming branches of the union in the various branches of the authority and its land ports, and how to activate the role of oversight over it to help correcting the imbalances facing its work as a result of previous and current conditions.
Major General Bin Brik stressed the keenness of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council to restore the lifeline within state institutions by monitoring them and submitting reports for consideration and solution through legal methods and frameworks.
