The Administrative Body of the National Assembly holds its periodic meeting and issues a statement

The Administrative Body of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Tuesday, headed by Dr. Anis Luqman, Acting Chairman of the National Assembly, and Mr. Lotfi Shatara, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, the administrative body stood for a minute of mourning to read Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs who fell in Shabwa governorate and on the various battle fronts.

The Administrative Body reviewed a number of topics included in its agenda for the year 2021, and the minutes of its previous meeting, as well as the annual report of the body, and the directions of its plan for the year 2022, in addition to the summary report on the Southern Dialogue abroad.

The Administrative Body of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council issued a statement during its periodic meeting came as the following:

The Administrative Body has stood before the evaluation of its annual work for the year 2021 and valued the efforts made by the leadership of the National Assembly, its secretariat and members of the committees during the past year 2021 and the directions of the work plan for the year 2022, and stressed the need to intensify efforts further to implement the directions of the plan and improve the performance of its work during the current year 2022.

In its meeting, the administrative body stressed the need to strengthen the southern cohesion at home and abroad to face the current challenges, and this requires showing the results of the southern dialogue and reflecting them into concrete practical steps.

The administrative body also stood before the latest developments in the situation, especially in the governorates of Shabwa and Hadhramout, and praised the heroic role of the Southern Giants forces for their military victories represented in the liberation of the Bayhan districts in Shabwa governorate, and they are still continuing their victories.

In its meeting, the administrative body stressed the need to turn these military victories achieved by the heroes of the southern forces into political victories in order to ensure the achievement of security and stability in Shabwa on the road to restoring the southern state in its entirety on May 21, 1990.

The administrative body praised the second Hadrami uprising, and expressed its full support for the restoration of the people of Hadhramout to their legitimate rights and administrating their wealth, security and stability.

In its meeting, the administrative body stressed strengthening the role of the Hadrami elite, and praised the recruitment operations carried out by the Hadrami uprising, enabling the people of Hadhramout to fully control of their governorate in accordance with the Riyadh Agreement and directing the military forces in the valley and desert of Hadhramout to the fronts of fighting with the Houthis.

The Administrative Body condemned the repeated attacks by the Houthi militia against the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, and called on the international community to include these militias in the lists of terrorism (as a terrorist organization), and to mobilize all efforts to combat it as it threatens security and stability in the region and the safety of international navigation.
