The General Secretariat holds its periodic meeting headed by Al-Jaadi

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, held its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.
In the meeting, Al-Jaadi said that “The nation is greater than everyone, and that we all have to strive for the public interest, which is ultimately the interest of all our southern people by achieving their aspirations for an independent state and a safe and dignified life.”
The meeting reviewed the economic scene report for the month of January, submitted by the Economic Department, which included presentation of a number of economic issues in the southern arena, foremost of which is the rise in food prices.
The meeting also discussed a report submitted by the Administrative and Financial Department, which included a presentation of the department’s workflow and the level of discipline of the General Secretariat’s staff during the month of January.
The meeting touched on a number of other developments in the southern governorates, in terms of service and security, and proposals that would address the many imbalances that the citizens suffer from.
The meeting also reviewed and approved the weekly achievement report of the departments of the General Secretariat, in addition to the minutes of its previous meeting.
