Presidency of STC discusses irresponsible behavior witnessed in KhorMaksar district and takes firm measures in this regard

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), in its meeting held on Monday morning, stood before the unfortunate events and irresponsible behavior that KhorMaksar district in the capital, Aden, witnessed on Sunday, and directed to quickly remove the security force present on “Workers” Island and refer all the elements involved in these events to the military judiciary.
The Presidency affirmed that these reckless individual actions will be met with a firm punitive action in accordance with the law, so that such behaviors that were exploited by the media hostile to our people, our cause, and the security and stability of the capital, Aden, would not be repeated.
In another context, the Presidency previewed a report submitted by the Supreme Economic Committee on the collecting system approved by the committee, and the collection points approved by it.
On the other hand, the Presidency of the Council demanded, in its meeting, the Prime Minister of the Government of power-sharing, to the speedy disbursement of the salaries of members of the Special Security Forces and their entitlements of food and fuel, similar to the other security units, reiterating its refusal to continue the arbitrary practices it pursues against one of the security units that perform its security role to the fullest despite scarcity of capabilities.
The Presidency, in its meeting, which was attended by a number of ministers of the Transitional Council in the power-sharing government, it also discussed the services crisis in the capital, Aden, most notably the scarcity of oil derivatives and the lack of domestic gas, asking the government of power-sharing to assume its responsibilities in providing services.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Presidency discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took appropriate measures in this regard.
