President Al-Zubaidi meets the Governor of the Central Bank

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Sunday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, met with Dr. Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Mabaqi, Governor of the Central Bank.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi got briefed by Dr. Al-Mabaqi on the efforts made by the administration of the Central Bank to revive the economic situation, address the collapse of the local currency, and stabilize foreign exchange rates.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of collecting central revenues and depositing them in the accounts allocated to them in the Central Bank, rationing spending, approving and developing investment opportunities, and working to address the imbalances that led to the accelerated collapse in the exchange rate, stressing that the leadership of the Presidential Leadership Council will do everything in its strength for quick treatments in the economic side, which would alleviate the suffering that burdened the citizens.

For his part, the Governor of the Central Bank offered congratulations and blessings to President Al-Zubaidi on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the success of the Riyadh consultations, stressing the bank’s administration’s readiness to make more efforts to address the imbalances in a way that contributes to stopping the collapse of the currency value, providing cash and working to find a cash reserve of foreign currencies that secures stability and stability. in the local market.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed al-Ghaithi, head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council, Imad Mohammed, deputy director of the office of the President of STC, Saleh al-Quaiti, representative of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of STC, and Ali al-Hadiani, press secretary to the president of the Council.
