President Al-Zubaidi receives Governor of Sana’a

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday evening, received Major General Abdul Qawi Al-Sharif, the governor of Sana’a Governorate,

At the beginning of the meeting, the president Al-Zubaidi welcomed the governor, Al-Sharif, and listened from him to a detailed report on the developments in the political and military situation in Sana’a and neighboring governorates, as well as the difficult humanitarian conditions that the citizens experience under the control of the Houthi militia, stressed that the national duty requires to stand firmly against this gang that causes destruction and loss of life to innocent and defenseless citizens.

The president Al-Zubaidi stressed on importance of seizing the opportunity to liberate the areas still under the control of the Houthi militia taking the advantage of the sincere fraternally support and assistance by the coalition forces to support legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, assured that the practices of this militia and its crimes against humanity make it imperative for all forces to cohesively stand against this terrorist militia .

For his part, the governor al-Sharif expressed his thanks and gratitude to the president Al-Zubaidi for his courageous brotherly stances in support the resistance in the central areas, extending his congratulations on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the success of Riyadh consultations, stressed on readiness of the local authority in Sana’a Governorate to perform directives of the Presidential Leadership Council and accompolish all the assigned tasks.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Naser Al-Khubaji, member of the Presidency of the STC, head of the Negotiations Unit, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, the official Spokesperson, member of the presidency of the STC, Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi,head of the General Directorate for Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC, and Mr. Ali al-Hadayani, Press and Media Secretary to the President of the STC.
