STC’s Presidenty Applauds Mass Rallies Commemorate 28th Anniversary of Disengagement

The presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) applauded, in its meeting, on Saturday, chaired by the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, the mass rallies that have gone out, in all governorates of the South, to commemorate the 28th anniversary of disengagement.
The STC’s presidenty expressed its appreciation for those mass rallies that came out to verbalize the firm will of people of the South and right of self-determination to restore the independent free State with its full sovereignty over the whole land of the South; from Al-Mahra to al Mandab Strait.
In a separate context, the presidency stood, at its meeting, before the political and military developments in governorates of the South; overemphasized the continuation of mobilizing militias, of Muslim Brotherhood, in Hadramout Valley and Al-Mahra governorate.
In the same context, the presidency has cautioned those parties against their systemized actions aiming at destabilizing the security and stability of Hadramout Valley areas and Al-Mahra, as well as impeding the process of political consensus resulted from Riyadh consultations.
In the meeting, the STC’s presidency has discussed the difficulties encounter people of Socotra governorate in transmitting and transportation to-and-fro the archipelago, in this regards the presidency has called on the power-sharing government to find quick solutions to allevaite the suffering of people of Socotra through adding one more weekly trip by Yemenia Airlines to-and-fro the Island.
Organizationally, the STC’s presidency stood before preparations for the 5th session of the National Assembly that is going to be held in June, stressing on the session to be well-prepared and well-arranged, and to implement the necessary measures and assignment in such regard.
To the end of that meeting, it touched on several military and security issues on its agenda and took the necessary measures in such regard.
