Ben Brik: The National Assembly will Present Vital Recommendations in its Fifth Session

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Wednesday, confirmed that the fifth session of the Assembly, in June, will present crucial recommendations to the STC, the power-sharing government and the Presidential Leadership Council, in a way that contributes to finding ultimate solutions to the economic and living conditions of citizens.
The chairman of the Assembly discussed with Sheikh Lahmar Ali Al-Aswad, the general political situation, changes that have recently occurred on the scene, and ways to implement the provisions of Riyadh Agreement and Consultations.
Major General Ben Brik expressed his gratitude to Shabwa tribes and their national supportive role to the Southern Giants Brigades and Shabwa Defense Forces in liberating Baihan and securing the whole governorate.
For his part, Sheikh Lahmar thanked Major General Ben Brik for the good reception and transparent discusion, pointing out that Shabwa governorate is facing a deteriorative situation on the security and military level, the need to control such certain deterioration and return things to the right place to be able to get out of this crisis, emphasizing on the necessity of making strategic and security changes in Shabwa governorate because it has become the first top public demand.
To the end of that meeting, Major General Ben Brik stressed the cohesion and unity of the southern efforts to confront all variability in the political situation, to get out of the bottleneck and reach the determined goal of restoring the State.
The meeting was attended by the journalist Saleh Abu Awdhal, activist Ghawar al-Dabsi, and the officer in the southern forces, Salem Awad.
