Ben Brik Meets Members of Alliance and Mass of Hadramout for Hadramout and the South Headed by Ben Sumaide’a

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met, on Sunday, at headquarters of the Assembly with members of Alliance and Mass of Hadramout for Hadramout and the South, headed by Lieutenant colonel Salem Mubarak Bin Sumaide’a, Chief of Alliance and Mass of Hadramout.

In the meeting, which was attended by two deputies of the chairman of the Assembly and members of Presidency of the STC; Lawyer Niran Souqi and Mr. Lutfi Shatara, Major General Ben Brik stressed the importance to hold the fifth session of the Assembly, scheduled on June 13-14, for which preparations are already well underway and which is going to discuss many issues and topics related to the service, health, economic, political and military aspects, in accordance with the recent outcomes of Riyadh Agreement and Consultations.

Major General Ahmed Saeed indicated that, in the fifth session of the assembly, a strategic vision and orientation of the STC for the upcoming period will be determined through structuring, restructuring and evaluating all its bodies during the past five years since establishing the STC, noting that the country is at a crossroads and our southern unity must be strengthened to achieve the ulimate goal of restoring State of the South.

In turn, members of the Alliance and Mass of Hadramout for Hadramout and the South conveyed to Major General Bin Brik a clear picture of the general situation in Hadhramaut and the sharp decline in all service, economic and military sectors, not to mention, the skyrocketing prices that have miserably burdened the shoulders of citizens over the whole period in which the current government has launched assuming responsibilities, tasks and affairs of the people.
