Shabwa Governor stresses overcoming difficulties in resuming oil production and export

Shabwa Governor Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki visited the Ayyad oil field west of Jardan District to inspect the progress of the appeal work in the facilities, and to check on their basic needs.
The Governor of Shabwa toured in an inspection tour of sector-4-oil, getting acquainted on status of the crude oil tanks (18,000 barrels), discussing opportunities to enhance them to receive larger quantities and ways to develop them for more export.
Awad Al-Wazir” listened to an explanation from the Director General of the Fourth Oil Sector, Eng. Nasser Zafer on the various import routes for crude oil; and the stages of its export to the liquefaction and export facilities in Balhaf.
On the sidelines of his visit, the Governor of Shabwa inspected the control room for the oil sector 4 and the operational pumps, in addition to the stations suspended due to the lack of chemicals.
The Governor stressed the need to preserve environmental protection; and the removal of industrial waste – if it is actually present – by treating it with biological and biological methods, stressing the maintenance of the pipe to ensure that no future leaks occur.
The Governor affirmed that “the leadership of the local authority will work to overcome the difficulties in front of them to facilitate the resumption of their work, and to enhance their oil exports, in order to effectively contribute to the process of upgrading the level of development services and the national economy.
