Djokovic reaches Wimbledon semifinals after epic comeback against Sinner

SMA NEWS – LONDON
Novak Djokovic has once again shown why he is the greatest tennis player in history when matches go into Group E.
Novak Djokovic, the defending champion, said he had no doubts he could come back from a two-set deficit to defeat Yannick Sener and reach the Wimbledon semi-finals.
Djokovic won 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 and will face Britain’s Cameron Norrie for a place in the final on Sunday.
It was the seventh time in the career of the 35-year-old Serb that he fought from two sets to love in a slam.
“I always thought I could come back. I know that the experience I have can eventually win out in situations like this,” said six-times champion Djokovic.
It was just a matter of a shift in momentum. I felt the start of the third set was crucial to a good start, he tried to break early. This is what happened.”
His win included an unbelievable passing shot that had him slip and hit a winner and then finish face down on the grass.
