President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Schemes of Oil Ministry and Efforts of Maintaining Stable-supply to Local Market

The president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Wednesday, met with Dr. Saeed Al-Shamasi, Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals Ministry.
The president Al-Zubaidi was briefed from Dr. Al-Shamasi on the upcoming steps that will be implemented by the Ministry of Oil and Minerals and exerted efforts by its branches, and Yemeni Petroleum Company in the governorates to regulate the process of importing petroleum-based products to the market, securing compliance with the global prices, which would contribute to maintaining stable-supply status to the local market.
The president listened from the deputy minister to a brief explanation on plans of the minsitry to enhance investment opportunities in gas sector in Hadhramout and Shabwa governorates, stressing the importance of providing an environment that attractives investment opportunities and launching sustainable strategic projects in this vital sector to gain internal self-sufficiency and boost the national economy.
