Major General Ben Brik receives President and members of Political Bureau of Revolutionary Movement Council

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, along with lawyer Niran Sooki, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly, on Thursday, met with Mr. Fadi Baoum, President of the Political Bureau of the Revolutionary Movement Council and a number of members of the Political Bureau.
In the meeting, Major General Ben Brik affirmed the Southern Transitional Council’s keenness to unite the ranks and bring the visions closer with everyone, in order to stand as one man against all the political, social and economic conspiracies and intrigues being hatched against the south and its sons, which have recently increased in ferocity.
In the meeting, Major General Ben Brik pointed to the need to confront the media hostile to our cause in all aspects, by rehabilitating our young, southern media cadres to confront all these issues and conspiracies, pointing out that the difference of opinion does not spoil the friendliness of an issue, and it is necessary to unify ranks and work at one pace and goal for the sake of restoring the southern state and support its cause.
The Chairman of the National Assembly drew attention to the results of the meetings and dialogues that took place over the past months, both at home and abroad, stressing that the next stage is dangerous and sensitive, and we have huge responsibilities in which all efforts must join forces, and the presence together will enable us to enter the stage and successfully overcome its difficulties.
Major General Ben Brik urged members of the Political Bureau of the Revolutionary Movement Council to be persistent and keen in the face of all the changes that will happen, as well as the need to adhere to revolutionary and militant immunity and the principles in which we all believed in order to achieve success in the next stage.
For her part, lawyer Niran Sooki expressed her happiness with this southern cohesion that will restore the south’s victory and dignity, stressing that President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council and Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, the Chairman of the National Assembly, contributed greatly to southern rapprochement and reunification, praising the role of southern women in the various stages of the struggle, and this indicates her belief in the pride and dignity of the homeland, and her great confidence in her struggle role throughout the political and militant history of the south, where she contributed with her male brother in the armed struggle against British colonialism and post-independence, in the construction and reconstruction stage and still stands by him since the brutal northern occupation of the south, and she will struggle until the restoration of the southern state.
