Governor Lamlas discusses with General Administration of Land Transport Corp. addressing problems restoring its pioneering role

The Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, discussed with the Director General of Aden Land Transport Corporation, Abdul Bari Al-Harbi, mechanisms to address the problems facing the institution’s workflow, and possible ways to restore its pioneering role.
This came during the periodic meeting of the Corporation, which was held on Sunday, in the governorate’s general office, in the presence of the governorate’s representative for transport affairs, Mr. Khaled Al-Jaimani, and the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the governorate, Eng. Abu Bakr Ba Obaid, and the Director-General of the Finance Office in the governorate, Mustafa Al-Shaeri.
During the meeting, Lamlas directed to adopt a monthly operational budget for the Corporation, and instructed the director general of the Corporation to form a committee to list all the its assets and submit them for discussion and follow-up, in addition to preparing a detailed report on the influential people who acquired the assets and properties to take the necessary measures and protect and restore the assets of the Corporation.
The meeting also discussed a number of problems and how to address them, in addition to developing a matrix and visualizing the needs of the maintenance workshop of the Corporation, with the head of the Chamber of Commerce, where he assured Lamlas the willingness of the local authority to provide support for maintenance, and to approve the workshop within the traffic police workshops in the capital, Aden.
Lamlas stressed the need to address the Director General of the Land Authority in the governorate to complete the procedures in the contracts related to the land transport corporation in Aden, in addition to expediting the procedures by the governorate’s legal affairs on a number of cases filed and related to the land transport corporation.
