While Meeting Military and Security Commanders…Major General Ben Brik: Emphasizes Raising Vigilance to Cleanse the South from Clutches of Terrorist Organizations

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, chaired on Wednesday, a meeting of the Security Committee for the Leadership of the STC.

The meeting discussed several security and military topics and issues, and the accomplishment of the assigned tasks during the past period, in addition to military developments on the fronts, praising the steadfastness and determination of the heroes of the Southern Armed Forces and the achieved success on all fronts; in particular the victories in the military operations of ‘Arrows of the East’ and ‘Arrows of the South’ in Abyan and Shabwa Governorates.

At the meeting, Major General Ben Brik emphasized on raising security vigilance among the southern forces to defend the homeland and cleanse it from the clutches of terrorist organizations (ISIS and al-Qaeda) and forces loyal to these organizations.

Ben Brik lauded the success of the security campaign in numbering plates of cars and vehicles, stressing on registering all vehicles, with no exception, in the capital, Aden.

The meeting reached to certain outcomes and practical measures to solve the various topics and issues that were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Qassem, Office Director of the Chairman of the National Assembly.
