Al-Ghaithi meets Saudi ambassador and stresses the unity of position and goal

The Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, Head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi met in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Friday, with the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber.
The meeting touched on the brotherly positions between the two sides, and the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on various levels.
Al-Ghaithi expressed the unity of the position, goal and the common future with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed the latest political and economic developments, in which Al-Ghaithi stressed the support of all forces, components and political parties for the Presidential Leadership Council, rejecting the intransigence of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias in the face of peace efforts.
Al-Ghaithi pointed to the importance of continuing the role of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission in supporting the Leadership Council through the necessary proposals and mechanisms for consensual solutions, and ensuring high-level coordination among all forces, in order to reach lasting peace and stability.
The the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reiterated support for peace, stability and development efforts, pointing to Saudi Arabia’s support for the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission and its role at this stage.
