The local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council “STC” in the capital, Aden, on Saturday, organized a carnival festival and an artistic celebration on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the glorious National Independence Day, the 30th of November, and the Emirati Martyr’s Day, and the 51st anniversary of the UAE National Day, “Union Day”, in the presence of the two members of the Presidency of the STC, Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, and lawyer Niran Sooki, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly of STC, under the generous patronage of President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.
During the festival, which was attended by Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, Commander of the Security Belt Forces, Mr. Issam Abdo Ali, who is in charge of the duties of the Head of the Transitional Council Executive Body in the capital, Aden, delivered a speech conveying the greetings and congratulations of President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, to the attendees. noting that our celebration today reminds us of those great heroic epics that our fathers and grandfathers wrote and watered the soil of this country with their pure blood as a sacrifice for freedom, dignity and independence, which on this great day decorated the city of Aden with the banners of victory and rose flag of freedom and independence has been raised high in all regions of the Arab South, announcing the departure of the last British soldier from the land of the South and the end of the colonial era that lasted 129 years.
In his speech, Issam indicated that our November celebration today coincides with the anniversary of the Emirati Martyr’s Day, whose pure blood mixed with the blood of his pure southern brother in the epic of liberation and dignity, and we find it appropriate to have mercy on those pure souls in order to preserve freedom and dignity.
Issam also offered his congratulations to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates, on its 51st anniversary of the Union Day, appreciating with pride all the great stances and generosity that our brothers in the UAE have provided and are still offering to us, renewing in that covenant the return of loyalty with loyalty.
The festival, which began with verses from the Holy Quran and the southern national anthem, and standing a minute of mourning for the souls of the martyrs, witnessed a carnival youth show for the media campaign of male and female students of the capital’s schools, through which paintings expressing joy on this occasion were raised in which the southern national flag and the flags of the Arab coalition countries were raised in appreciation and respect for what Instead of sacrifices and helping the southern people in confronting the Iranian project in the south.
A number of folklore groups also performed folk dances of the Adenic heritage and the Emirati Arda, in addition to a number of artists and student groups presenting the southern and Emirati national singing groups to celebrate this occasion.
