Al-Alimi’s anti-South statements spark protests in Al-Mahra

Citizens in Al-Mahra governorate, on Sunday, organized a peaceful protest in front of the local authority office in the governorate, denouncing the statements of Rashad Al-Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council.
Al-Alimi called for postponing the solution to the issue of the people of the South and lowering the ceiling of the demands of the Arab south for a solution within the framework of the existing political system, despite the demand of the southerners to restore their state.
The protesters raised slogans and banners calling for the transfer of the forces of the First Military Region affiliated with the terrorist Brotherhood militia and their transfer to the confrontation fronts with the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, and their removal from the affairs of their governorate, denouncing the Brotherhood’s starvation policy.
