Al-Houthi Militias Retreat from Several Fronts to Prevent the Fall of Al-Hodeida and Suda
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Arabia Al-Yemenia – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Sources close to Al-Houthi coup militias uncovered secret orders issued by the commandership of the militias to withdraw militants from several fronts in Taiz and redirect them to Suda and the west coast. According to “Al-Khaleej” Emirati newspaper, these recent field developments came after the Presidential Gurads Units, under commandership of brigadier Tarek Saleh engaged in the fight against the militias on the west coast, with heavy support of UAE Armed Forces. This forced the militias to withdraw troops from minor fronts in Taiz and other posts in Hajjah and Amran and redirect them as reinforcements to Al-Hodeida and Suda. Sources added that Al-Houthis recently used severe penalties against fugitives of fighting fronts, including torture and field executions. This is a clear reflection of decreased morale among militants.
