President Al-Zubaidi discusses with Ambassador of Kingdom of Denmark road map for the success of the political process

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, received on Monday, Ms. Lisalotte Plesner, the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Yemen.
The meeting discussed developments in the political and humanitarian situation in our country, and the latest developments in the political process led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the supervision of the United Nations, to end the war in our country and to establish peace in the region.
President Al-Zubaidi reviewed the efforts made by the Presidential Leadership Council and the concessions it made in order to reach a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace that establishes a secure and stable future in our country and the region in general.
The meeting also discussed the results of the negotiations conducted by the Saudi and Omani delegations with the leadership of the Houthi militia in Sana’a, and highlighted the difficulties facing the direct talks and the proposed road map for the success of the political process, which is supposed to start in the next few days, and the status of the issue of the people of the South within it, in this regard, President Al-Zubaidi affirmed that the issue of the South will be raised in the comprehensive political process as a pivotal issue with a special framework agreed upon by all the parties involved in the framework of the Presidential Leadership Council.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the humanitarian support provided by the Kingdom of Denmark to our country since the outbreak of the war, expressing his aspiration to enhance bilateral cooperation between our country and the Kingdom of Denmark in the fields of maritime transport, port management, agriculture and fishing.
For her part, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark renewed the support of her country’s government for all efforts aimed at ending the war and bringing peace to our country, expressing her aspiration to visit the capital, Aden, in the near future.
The meeting was attended by Asmaa Mishleh, official for the political department at the embassy, and Emad Mohammed, Director of the Office of the vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Saleh Al-Qaiti, Advisor to the Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
