STC’s Assembly Reviews Restructuring Project and Preparations to Hold 6th Session

The administrative body of the National Assembly in the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Sunday morning, chaired by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly, in the presence of his deputies.

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed all the attendees, conveying to them the congratulations of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr. May Allah return it to the Arab and Islamic nations with prosperity, peace, and blessings.

The administrative body listened from Mr. Mohsen Obaid, head of the Restructuring Committee of the STC, who participated in the meeting, a satisfied explanation of the committee’s work in rebuilding the structure of all the institutions and bodies of the STC and correcting all the cons of the previous period, as well as the process of upgrading and developing the organizational structure in line with the changes taking place in the landscape.

Major General Ahmed Saeed touched on the subject of restructuring and changing within the framework of the assembly that will be announced soon to promote the high public interest of the cause of the South in general as well as the status of the STC in particular.

Major General Bin Brik reaffirmed that the Presidium of the STC, led by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, is devotedly working to reach the supreme goal and achieve the aspirations of the people of the South.

The meeting underscored a good preparation to hold the sixth session of the assembly, and a legal committee was formed to prepare and present the required documents at the sixth session of the assembly.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Qassem, Office Director of the Chairman of the National Assembly.
