NSMA Discusses Orientations of Upoming Period and Mechanisms for Renewing Media Discourse

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held on Sunday its periodic meeting, chaired by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of NSMA.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of NSMA reviewed the document of the by-law approved by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, to organize the work of the auxiliary bodies, which included the general rules for the formation of the bodies and defined the specified tasks and oriented functions of each body.

The meeting, too, reviewed the orientations for the performance of NSMA in the upcoming period, and in this respect, the meeting assigned the heads of the sectors and departments represented in NSMA to present the plans of their departments and sectors for the upcoming period for surveying and approval.

The meeting touched on the southern media discourse of the South and the mechanisms for renewing it in line with the developments of the phase, enhancing national dialogue efforts, strengthening the home front, and highlighting the major importance of the Southern National Charter.

At the end of its meeting, NSMA stood before a range of topics and issues related to its work and took the appropriate measures.
